Each of the musicians in GNO have nearly 30 years of professional experience in the Detroit area. In additional
to studio work, they have performed in a wide variety of venues ranging from jazz & country clubs, to community
and professional theater stages. They have played for corporate & private parties as well as many of the area's
finest restaurants and lounges. Their large repertoire lets them feel comfortable performing at small dinner
parties or large venues.
Cindy Pavelek plays piano, harmonica and sings in the duet. She has been teaching piano for the last 2 ½ decades.
You may have seen her performing in such clubs as Vanelli's and Kruse & Muers. She has been the musical director
for several productions at Meadowbrook & Cranbrook Theaters. Currently Cindy is the piano accompanist for
Peanut Gallery Players and
keyboardist for the 18 piece Big Band,
Swing Shift Orchestra.
Mary Boonenberg, who has performed in several productions with the Downriver Actors Guild, sings lead and plays
guitar in the duet. She has been the lead singer for the variety band E-Z Street for 20 years. She recently sang
a duet with Frank Sinatra Tribute artist Kevin
Sands on his second album featuring Paul
Keller on bass and Randy Napoleon on
guitar.
